Play area bark is a great product that helps protect children who fall from a height into the chippings. It’s light, easy to use and difficult to vandalise. Pine play area bark chippings should meet two standards – BS 4790 (ignition resistance) and BS EN 1177 : 1998 (an Impact Absorbing Playground Surfacing test). All of our bark chippings come from manufacturers that meet or even exceed these standards.
