Play area bark chips are a great product that will help protect children if they fall from height onto the surface. It is light, easy to handle and difficult to vandalise. Pine Play Bark chippings should meet two standards; BS 4790 (resistance to ignition) and BS EN 1177 : 1998 (a Impact Absorbing Playground Surfacing test), all of our bark chippings come from manufacturers that meet or exceed these standards!
